SINGAPORE - SBS Transit will re-route 22 of its bus services this weekend as a result of road closures along Raffles Avenue and Orchard Road for the Chingay Parade and Chingay SG50 Night Fiesta.
Eight services will skip the bus stop in front of the seating gallery at Raffles Avenue on Feb 27 and 28 from 9.30pm to 11pm. These are: 36, 56, 70M, 97, 111, 133, 162M and 195.
Fourteen services will skip three bus stops along Orchard Road and Paterson Road from 5pm on Sunday, Mar 1, to 2am on Monday, Mar 2. These are: 7, 14, 16, 36, 65, 111, 123, 124, 143, 162M, 174, 175, 502 and 518.
The annual Chingay parade, featuring 11,000 performers, will be held at the F1 Pit Building. The Chingay SG50 Night Fiesta is a national street party to celebrate SG50.
