Train services on the Circle Line were disrupted on Wednesday night, prompting train operator SMRT to deploy shuttle and public buses.

There was no train service between Stadium and Harbourfront MRT stations at about 11pm. SMRT had tweeted then to ask commuters to seek alternative transport.

It later said free public and shuttle buses were available between the two stations. It did not say what had caused the disruption.
