Train services on the North East Line (NEL) are back to normal following a train fault on Wednesday evening which caused a two-hour disruption, said SBS Transit.

Free buses between the Woodleigh and Punggol stations are still available, the operator said.

Huge crowds were seen at affected stations earlier in the evening and train services on the NEL suffered a 30-minute delay.
