Train service on North-east Line resumes after short delay due to signalling fault

SINGAPORE - Train service on the North-east Line (NEL) has resumed after a signalling fault caused a delay of about 20 minutes for commuters, SBS Transit said.

It tweeted at 6.07pm on Saturday (March 19): "NEL full service has resumed. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused."

SBS Transit said in an earlier tweet at 5.58pm that commuters travelling on the NEL would experience a 20-minute delay,

The delay was due to a signalling fault at the Harbourfront station, the transport operator explained.
