SINGAPORE - A Traffic Police officer was injured when his motorcycle was involved in a collision with two cars along Clementi Road at around noon on Wednesday (Oct 11).

The police confirmed that the 28-year-old officer, who was on duty, was involved in the accident, which took place on the three-lane road in the direction of West Coast Highway.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it sent an ambulance to the scene, and the officer was taken conscious to the National University Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.

The Straits Times understands that a car had tried to swerve from the rightmost lane to the middle lane, forcing another car in the middle lane to brake abruptly.

The officer then crashed into the back of that car. He had abrasions on his arms and legs.
