SINGAPORE - Those who have successfully balloted for tickets to the National Day Parade 2015 can collect their tickets from Friday (June 5) to June 14 at the Marina Square Shopping Mall Atrium.
Successful applicants of the preview and actual-day parades will be notified by Friday via the contact number provided in their applications, the Defence Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
Ticket collection hours are from 10am to 10pm daily at the mall on Raffles Boulevard. The NDP 2015 Exhibition will also be held there.
An NRIC or original photo identification, such as a student pass or driver's licence, must be produced before the tickets will be handed over. Those unable to collect their tickets personally should authorise a representative to do so on their behalf. The authorised person should have with them an original photo identification, a photocopy of the front and back of the successful applicant's photo identification, and a signed copy of the Letter of Authorisation, available at www.ndp.org.sg/ticket-time.
Tickets not collected by June 14 will be forfeited.
The parade to mark Singapore's Golden Jubilee is expected to be an exciting one, featuring the largest-ever fireworks display and an aerial display by the Republic of Singapore Air Force.
Spectators at the Padang, the main venue of National Day Parade 2015, will get to watch the parade proceedings live, while spectators at The Float @ Marina Bay will enjoy a live streaming of the parade, along with the other satellite celebration sites around the Marina Bay area.
Members of the public are encouraged to join in the celebrations at the other satellite sites around the Marina Bay area.
Successful applicants are reminded that the sale of NDP preview and actual-day tickets is strictly prohibited. Those who want to find out more about ticket collection can call 1800-NDP-2015 (1800-637-2015).
