SINGAPORE - Two cars crashed on Tuesday afternoon at a Clementi Road junction, with one flying across a divider and hitting a third car on a slip road.
The driver of the third car, Mr Huang Hanqi, 31, said the red and silver cars hit each other with great impact and a loud crash. The red one flew across the divider and hit the back of his car as he was waiting at the junction of Clementi Avenue 2 and Clementi Road, he said.
He was unhurt and got out of his car to help the driver of the red car, a woman in her 30s.
"She was conscious but bleeding and looked in shock. I called an ambulance for her and watched to make sure she was breathing," said Mr Huang, adding that the woman's car had narrowly missed hitting trees and traffic lights at the divider.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it was called to the scene at 1.50pm and sent a woman to the National University Hospital.
A woman who was driving the silver car had her leg treated on the spot and did not want to be taken to hospital. The driver, a man, appeared unhurt.
