About 350,000 exam scripts from Singapore are handled every year by Cambridge International in Britain, and most are marked by examiners in their homes.
While the marks are sent to Cambridge electronically, these GCE exam scripts have to be couriered back and forth as many examiners live considerably far away from Cambridge, Mr Roderic Gillespie, Cambridge International's director of assessment, said in an e-mail to The Sunday Times yesterday.
