This year's National Day Parade (NDP) was full of impressive colourful segments: Daytime fireworks, the return of Singaporean mascots from days gone by, and Singapore icons like the dragon playground appearing on floats.

It also featured a number of individuals and groups that touched the hearts of many Singaporeans.
