Movies have become an essential part of our past but the job of preserving those magic moments is a demanding one that requires as much passion as skill.
The task here falls to the Asian Film Archive (AFA) that was set up in 2005 to preserve the celluloid heritage of Singapore and Asian cinema and to encourage scholarly research. Its collection of 2,079 films includes those from here and across the region, spanning all genres, from documentaries to horror and comedy.
