SINGAPORE - For the first time in Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan's 93-year history, a woman is in charge of its anniversary dinner, to be held at Suntec Singapore at the end of this year.
Ms Teo Ser Lee, 56, a former beauty queen, also became a board member less than a year after she joined the 6,000-strong clan association in 2016.
