Temporary road closure by HDB at Toa Payoh Lorong 6

A section of Toa Payoh Lorong 6 between Toa Payoh Lorong 2 and Lorong 4 will be temporarily closed to traffic on May 17 from 1pm to 5pm.

The Housing & Development Board (HDB) said in a statement on Tuesday that the closure was to facilitate the launching of concrete beams for the construction of a pedestrian overhead bridge near Toa Payoh Swimming Complex.

Motorists are advised to take alternative routes along Toa Payoh Central, Kim Keat Link and sections of Toa Payoh Lorong 2 that remain open.

HDB added that motorists and road users should exercise caution when driving in the area. Blinking lights, barricades and diversion signs will be put up to guide motorists affected by the road closure.
