SINGAPORE – National water agency PUB has postponed the closure of a section of Bukit Timah Road and Dunearn Road, which had been intended for the removal of an overhead pedestrian bridge.
In a Facebook post on April 24, PUB said the removal works near Jalan Jambu Ayer had been scheduled for the early hours of April 25 and 26, but were postponed owing to changes in the project timeline.
The stretch of Bukit Timah Road that runs from The Cascadia condominium to The Nexus condo, and the section of Dunearn Road between Binjai Park and Jalan Jambu Ayer, will now stay open to the public from 12.30am to 6am on the two days.
The temporary closure of the roads had been planned to support ongoing drainage upgrading works along the Bukit Timah Canal.
PUB apologises for the inconvenience caused and added that it will provide an update on the rescheduled dates for the removal works.
