The section of Tampines Expressway (TPE) between Jalan Kayu and Sengkang East Road will be temporarily closed to traffic on Feb 5, between midnight and 5am.

This is to facilitate the removal of an existing overhead gantry and to put up a new gantry for the widening of the TPE roadway.

Motorists heading to Tampines using the TPE in the direction of the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) are advised to use alternative routes along Jalan Kayu, Sengkang West Way, Sengkang East Road and the TPE (KPE).

Blinking lights, barricades and diversion signs will be put up to guide motorists.
