Taxi driver hurt in chain collision in Airport Boulevard

SINGAPORE - A 61-year-old man was hurt in a chain collision in Airport Boulevard on Monday morning (Feb 26).

The accident, involving three taxis and two cars, caused traffic to build up on the four-lane road leading to Changi Airport for about an hour.

The police said they were alerted to the accident at about 7.50am.

A 61-year-old taxi driver was conscious when taken to the Changi General Hospital.

The Straits Times understands that the vehicles were travelling on the second lane towards Changi Airport Terminal 2 when the accident occurred.

A video shared on Telegram channel SG Road Blocks/Traffic News on Monday shows a traffic snarl at the scene, where at least two Traffic Police officers were spotted.
