These were some of the items Ms Manda Foo (holding sugar cane) and Mrs Ivy Singh-Lim of the Gentle Warriors' Trust gave President Halimah Yacob yesterday at the Istana, where the President hosted a lunch for women's groups. In a Facebook post, Madam Halimah said women play a significant role both at home and at work in today's society, and saluted them for their contributions.
