STB announces finalists for Singapore Experience Awards 2015

SINGAPORE - The Singapore Tourism Board has announced the finalists of the 2015 Singapore Experience Awards .

Tt said on Tuesday (Oct 13) that the 79 finalists will vie for 25 awards in three main categories: customer service, leisure and Mice experiences, and marketing and media.

Winners will be announced at a ceremony held at Raffles City Convention Centre on Oct 21.

Evaluation was conducted by a panel of 60 judges from the industry, such as Mr Campbell Wilson, chief executive officer of budget airline Scoot, and Mr Darren Oh, director of business development at Gardens by the Bay.

"Shortlisted finalists embody the spirit of innovation and commitment towards delivering unique and compelling experiences in their offerings," STB said.

Finalists include private Peranakan museum The Intan, which is in the running for best leisure and travel experience, and international trade event organiser Koelnmesse, for trade conference organiser of the year.

Ion Orchard, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands and Metro Centrepoint are vying for the best shopping experience award, while 1-Altitude, CÉ LA VI Singapore and Kyo are finalists for best nightspot experience.
