SINGAPORE - For 59-year-old Jeffrey Kong, Chinatown holds fond memories of his childhood, especially the time when he was 12 years old and British royalty visited the neighbourhood.
"Queen Elizabeth II and her entourage visited Chinatown, and they passed by Pagoda Street," Mr Kong said of the occasion in 1972.
