Spotted: Bukit Timah's abandoned mountain bikes

Some of those found are fairly new; men seen emerging from nature reserves riding them

Along a 5km stretch from Mandai to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, The Straits Times found over 20 bicycles. Are these bikes abandoned, or stolen and stashed?

Lucky nature lovers may get to spot the elusive mouse deer or even a pangolin in Singapore's parks and nature reserves.

The last thing anyone would expect to come across are mountain bikes strewn about.
