Dozens of international travellers were left in the lurch last month when their bookings through third-party booking site HotelQuickly were cancelled without notice.

Singaporean Nuranisah Salamon, 36, told The Straits Times that she and her family had arrived at the Sunway Clio Hotel in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, on Nov 17, only to be told that their reservation had been cancelled days before.
