They are known for their colourful mass dance displays at National Day Parades, but for one Singapore Soka Association member, it is a rain-drenched rehearsal that leaps to mind.
Parade veteran Lee Toh Ling, who has been involved in 10 NDPs for the Buddhist group, says that in 2009 participants were caught in a heavy downpour during a rehearsal a month before the show.
