SINGAPORE- The skies were grey on Saturday due to a slight haze. The three-hour Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) stayed above 80 in the day. It was at 81 at 6pm, after hitting 87 at noon, according to tweets by the National Environment Agency (NEA).

Air quality is in the moderate zone, and normal activities can go on as usual.

Air is considered unhealthy when the index crosses 100. NEA said on Friday that occasional, slight haze is expected on Saturday. It said that the prevailing winds are forecast to blow from the southwest on Saturday. It added said that two hotspots were detected in Sumatra, Indonesia, on Friday. The low hotspot count was due to cloud cover over the island.
