Singapore Zoo and Night Safari to mark Chinese New Year with goat-themed activities

SINGAPORE - Local wildlife attractions Singapore Zoo and Night Safari will mark the upcoming festive period with a series of goat-themed activities from Feb 18-22.

The zoo has welcomed the birth of eight baby goats over the last two months and visitors will get a chance to interact with them.

Daily photography, feeding and enrichment sessions will be available, including an awareness booth for children to learn more about this year's zodiac animal.

Meanwhile, the goat's wilder cousins - the horned markhor and Himalayan tahr, as well two species of wild sheep the bharal and mouflon - will be on display at the Night Safari.

Animal enrichment sessions will be held at various locations around the park from 7pm to 9.30pm.
