Singapore black tofu, Cookie Museum cookies win food industry awards

SINGAPORE - Four Singapore food products, ranging from cookies to tofu have won prizes at the Global Food Industry Awards.

Kang Kang Pasteurized Wheat Noodles by Tan Seng Kee's Food Pte Ltd won an award for best packaging

 Cookie Museum's Singapore Heritage Cookies Collection and Unicurd's Black Soybean Silken Tofu both won awards for product and process innnovation.

 F&N Magnolia Lo-Fat Hi-Cal DHA Omega 3 was awarded a Certificate of Special Mention for Communicating Science related knowledge to consumers aimed at improving their lifestyle.

The accolades were announced at the World Congress of Food Science and Technology in Montreal, Canada in August, and will be presented to the winners in Singapore on Tuesday.

They were awarded by the International Union of Food Science and Technology.
