Singapore Airlines flights affected by New York blizzard

Some Singapore Airlines (SIA) flights to and from New York on Feb 7 and Feb 8 will be affected or cancelled due to the heavy snow fall and strong winds affecting the United States' east coast.

SQ 26 which departs on Feb 7 from Singapore will terminate in Frankfurt instead of New York's John F. Kennedy (JFK) International Airport. SQ 26 which departs on Feb 8 from Frankfurt to New York, and SQ 25, which departs on the same day from New York to Frankfurt, will be cancelled.

Flights SQ 22 from Singapore to Newark and SQ 21 from Newark to Singapore on Feb 8 will also be cancelled due to snow storms in Newark.

Affected customers are advised to check the SIA website regularly or contact 6223- 8888.

SIA will waive administrative fees for customers holding confirmed tickets on affected flights issued on or before Feb 7, for travel between Feb 8 and Feb 10.
