Rain came back to Singapore on Water Day, which falls today.
Showers fell all over the island, bringing respite from the prolonged dry weather that has lasted for about two months.
The National Environment Agency's three-hour forecast expects light rain all over the island. Wet weather conditions will also likely continue. Singaporeans can expect afternoon thundery showers for the next three days.
On Saturday afternoon, many people posted pictures of the showers on social media. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong too posted a picture on his Instagram account of rain at the Institute of Technical Education College Central in Ang Mo Kio.
