SINGAPORE- A Scoot flight from Australia's Gold Coast to Singapore was delayed by six hours on Sunday due to a technical issue.
The flight was scheduled to leave at 7.05am Singapore time, but left at 1.03pm (3.03pm in Queensland).
A Scoot spokesman told The Straits Times: "Scoot Flight TZ 5 departed from the Gold Coast at 3.03pm (local time) and is scheduled to arrive into Singapore at 8.45pm (Singapore time).
"The flight was delayed this morning due to a technical issue."
The spokesman added: "Scoot would like to emphasise that safety is our top priority. We realise the delay has inconvenienced our guests and we seek the kind understanding of the passengers affected."
