Safra and DBS Bank have collaborated to come up with the new Safra DBS credit and debit cards, which will be rolled out in April next year for Safra members, NSmen, and their families.

Cardholders will be able to enjoy special discounts and privileges at more than 1,700 merchants from sectors like the food and beverage or entertainment industry.

Speaking at the launch event on Saturday, Second Minister for Defence Chan Chun Sing, who is also Safra president, said the cards were intended to recognise what NSmen and their families have done for the country.

"You can never monetise the contributions made by NSmen, but we try to expand the opportunities to honour them as much as we can," said Mr Chan, who is also Minister for Social and Family Development.
