Pre-schoolers from Pat's Schoolhouse getting a feel of the road in Audi R8 mini-electric cars and as pedestrians crossing the street while being supervised by staff from the Singapore Toy Club yesterday. They were in an interactive road safety programme, launched this month by Audi Singapore in collaboration with Pat's Schoolhouse. The programme aims to give children a hands-on session in road safety through role-play to cultivate good road safety habits. Mr Jeff Mannering, managing director of Audi Singapore, hoped that this would make them responsible road users in the future. A total of 900 pre-schoolers, aged between five and six, across Pat Schoolhouse's 16 centres will be involved in the experiential programme.
