SINGAPORE - A leaking underground pipe that flooded a 50m stretch of Thomson Road on Saturday has been fixed, ahead of the morning peak traffic on Monday.

In response to queries, national water agency PUB said on Sunday that it worked with the Land Transport Authority and closed two sections of the three-lane road.

The affected section of the road is near the SPC Thomson petrol station close to Thomson Medical Centre.

The PUB spokesman said repair works were expected to finish on Sunday.

The agency said in an update on Monday that all the lanes are open for traffic.
