The annual Community Games will be back this year. Registration for the games, to be held from March 16 to June 30, is now open.

Ten sports - badminton, basketball, bowling, dragon boat, football, netball, road run, sepak takraw, swimming and table tennis - will feature in the upcoming games. Registration for all sports except the latter five is open. Players for the other five sports will be able to register for those games on March 4. Registration is free.

The games, meant to foster a strong sporting culture, enhance social cohesion and bond the community, served as a qualifying round for the inaugural Singapore National Games last year. There will be no National Games this year as it is held biennially.
