Pub owner charged with murder at Changi Village Road

A pub owner was charged on Wednesday with the murder of a 45-year-old man.

Low Chuan Woo, 44, who owns Ramasses pub, is accused of committing murder by causing the death of Mr Mohamed Iskander Ishak at Changi Village Road at 11.38pm on Monday.

Mr Iskander, who was stabbed several times, managed to hail a cab which took him to Changi General Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 12.17am.

Low, who was unrepresented, was remanded at Central Police Division for further investigation. His case will be mentioned on Jan 23. The punishment for murder is death.
