Prosecution: Ng corrupt if he believed oral sex was inducement to show favour

It is enough to prove former Central Narcotics Bureau chief Ng Boon Gay is corrupt if he believed Ms Cecilia Sue gave him oral sex as inducement to show her company favour, said Deputy Public Prosecutor Tan Ken Hwee.

In his closing submission on Monday afternoon, he rebutted defence lawyer Tan Chee Meng's argument that the oral sex between Ng and Ms Sue could not have been gratification because they were in a relationship.

Whether something is or is not gratification, is not affected by whether or not the giver and receiver is in a relationship, said the prosecution lawyer. "Why did the accused think Cecilia fellated him in respect of the four counts of fellatio that he is charged with?" he said.

Ng, 46, is facing four charges of having corruptly obtained oral sex from former IT executive Ms Sue, 36, on four occasions in 2011, in exchange for furthering the business interests of her then employers.
