Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and wife Ho Ching arrive at Istana

SINGAPORE - Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and his wife Ho Ching arrived at the Istana early on Monday morning.

Ms Ho posted on her Facebook: "The rolling mist over the green field of the Istana gardens this morning also seems to be bidding their farewells."


Prime Minister Lee has declared a seven-day period of national mourning for Singapore's founding father and former prime minister Lee Kuan Yew, who died on Monday morning aged 91.

The Prime Minister will also be addressing the nation in a live broadcast at 8am on Monday.
