The annual Pre-university Seminar officially opened at the National University of Singapore (NUS) on Monday afternoon.
A total of 540 students from 29 junior colleges, polytechnics, and Millenia Institute will discuss issues that arose from the various Our Singapore Conversation sessions held in the last few months. The theme for this year's seminar is "Singapore 2030: Our Future, Our Home".
This year, the students are grouped into teams from different institutions to complete a project on issues pertaining to Singapore. This is a departure from the traditional format where students prepared presentations in teams from their individual institutions.
The seminar is co-organised by Nanyang Junior College and the Ministry of Education.
