20 women. 20 passions. 20 stories

Do Singaporeans have passion? Is there more to us beyond the pragmatic and efficient qualities that Singaporeans are known for? A resounding yes is what led to the creation of Singapore’s new trade/tourism brand.

Singapore Passion Made Possible celebrates the exceptionalism of our small island state, and encapsulates the Singapore spirit of passion made possible: where people with vision and drive harness an infinite resource of ingenuity to generate possibilities, and to bring about meaningful change.

Change does not have to come with a bang. Passion need not be loud and demonstrative. We don’t have to look far. There are many among us who – as they live out their lives with passion – have made an impact on those around them and the community.

In celebration of International Women’s Day, the Ministry of Communications and Information (MCI) together with Her World and Nuyou, have worked to uncover some of these stories.

These are stories of 20 women who show us what passion is made of — Determination, Optimism, Resourcefulness, Ambition, and Down-to-Earth — qualities that define Singapore and make us Singaporeans.

Be inspired by the stories of these exceptional individuals.
