SINGAPORE - Political succession for the People’s Action Party (PAP) was back on track in 2022, with the selection – and subsequent promotion – of Deputy Prime Minister Lawrence Wong.

Mr Wong then launched the Forward Singapore national dialogue to review Singapore’s social compact and chart its direction for the next decade, with a final report expected by mid-2023.
