A bus-stop along Scotts Road was cordoned off by police for about two hours on Wednesday.

The police were called to the area outside Royal Plaza on Scotts hotel after a member of the public alerted them to a suspicious parcel at the bus-stop.

Officers have removed the parcel and investigations are ongoing.
