Philippine Air Force Chief makes introductory visit to Singapore

SINGAPORE - Lieutenant General Jeffrey Delgado, Commanding General of the Philippine Air Force, called on Singapore's Defence Minister, Dr Ng Eng Hen, on Friday morning.

Lt-Gen Delgado, who has been in Singapore for an introductory visit from Thursday, also called on defence chief Perry Lim and air force chief Hoo Cher Mou, after inspecting a Guard of Honour at the Ministry of Defence. Lt-Gen Delgado had also visited the Air Force Training Command on Thursday.

The Ministry of Defence said Lt-Gen Delgado's visit underscores the warm and friendly defence relations between Singapore and the Philippines. The air forces of the two countries interact regularly through professional visits and exchanges, and attending courses.
