A section of the Tampines Expressway (TPE) between Jalan Kayu and Sengkang East Road will be closed to traffic on April 25 between 1am and 5am.

The temporary road closure will facilitate the erecting of a new overhead gantry sign along the TPE, said Housing Board (HDB).

The sign is meant to guide motorists along the different lanes in the expressway.

During the road closure, vehicles will be diverted to an alternative route along Jalan Kayu, Sengkang West Way, and Sengkang East Road. Lights, barricades and diversion signs will also be put up to guide affected motorists, said HDB in a statement on Monday.
