SINGAPORE - Lyla Ng's eyes light up when asked what she loves about skateboarding. "I feel like I'm flying when I'm going fast," the eight-year-old says with a squeal.

Her dad Eric Ng, a music producer and songwriter, adds: "I think she enjoys it because she likes to go on roller coasters. So this is like her controlling her own roller coaster. She gets a big kick out of it."
