SINGAPORE - Damien Ooi, a Raffles Institution Year 6 student, could not believe his ears when he heard there would be no lessons at his school every Wednesday.

"We have been so used to going to school from Monday to Friday our whole lives. I thought that it was another Covid-19 measure," said the 18-year-old, who is in his second year of junior college.
