A new school year brings with it opportunities for new learning experiences.

SINGAPORE – At the start of each school year, I always remind my students to be open to learning new things. There will be new classmates and teachers to meet, new experiences to discover and new challenges to overcome.
It is tempting to fall back on the familiar and to resist change. Many students would prefer to keep to the friends they have made in their previous class or stay with the teachers they like.
