Enrolment in eight special student care centres appointed by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) has risen by about 16 per cent in the past three years.
As at May, more than 200 children were in these centres, which provide before and after-school care services for students aged seven to 18 with special needs who attend special education (Sped) schools.
