SINGAPORE - By his own confession, radio host Vernon Anthonisz - or Vernon A, as he is known on-air - grew up being caned and hit with a belt.
"My parents were very old-school," the 48-year-old says. "Using the cane and the belt were very common during those days. I'm a 70s child."
