For eight years, Mr James Ong had held full-time jobs in different sectors. But in 2016, he decided to quit his salaried job so he could have more time for family and his first child who was born the year before.

"The work culture was not going to change to fit me, so it was either giving in to the demands of the office or industry we're in, or I value my role as husband and father enough to look for change," he said.
