Temasek Polytechnic's School of Design deputy director Darryl David, 44, and colorectal surgeon Koh Poh Koon, 43, will join Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong's Ang Mo Kio GRC team to contest the next election.
The two new additions to the six-member team were unveiled on Saturday, together with the PAP's candidate for Hougang SMC, IT manager Lee Hong Chuang, 45.
Mr David and Dr Koh will join existing Ang Mo Kio GRC MPs, Dr Intan Azura Mokhtar and Mr Ang Hin Kee, in the prime minister's team.
Mr Gan Thiam Poh is also joining the team after his Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC ward was absorbed into Ang Mo Kio GRC in the recent boundary changes.
Dr Lam Pin Min will defend his Sengkang West seat at the elections.
Of the line-up introduced, Mr David and Mr Lee Hong Chuang are the new faces.
Dr Koh had contested the 2013 Punggol East by-election that was won by the Workers' Party's Lee Li Lian.
Mr David is perhaps best known as a television personality, having spent 22 years in the media.
He became a household name in the 1990s hosting The Pyramid Game. He joined Temasek Polytechnic in 2001.
During his introduction on Saturday morning, Mr David spoke in Hokkien, about the importance of connecting with older residents.
Mr Lee - the party's Hougang candidate - is a senior IT manager at IBM.
He is the PAP branch chairman in Hougang and was also the team manager for the national gymnastics team.
He is Hainanese but he said he learnt Teochew to connect with Hougang residents.
He said: "I'll try my best to gain their trust, get them to understand who I am."
PM Lee said: "In Hougang, Hong Chuang expects to have a tough fight. But I know him, he has the fighting spirit..."
The newcomers to Ang Mo Kio GRC replace retiring veteran MPs Seng Han Thong and Mr Inderjit Singh.
Mr Inderjit said: "I've been around for 31 years, and you'll continue to hear from me."
Mr Yeo Guat Kwang, who is being redeployed from Ang Mo Kio GRC, said he does not know where he will be fielded.
He added: "Wherever I go, I will serve with a sincere heart."
