SINGAPORE - The People's Action Party's top decision-making body has announced its full slate of members after a meeting on Monday.

The Central Executive Committee added three new faces to its ranks: Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs Masagos Zulkifli and backbenchers Zaqy Mohamad and Liang Eng Hwa, who were co-opted along with Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Lawrence Wong.

This brings the total number of members in the PAP's central executive committee to 18.

Of this number, 12 were elected by party cadres at the biennial PAP conference on Dec 7, and two members were co-opted that same day: Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen and Parliament Speaker Halimah Yacob.

The CEC's office holders remain unchanged.

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong continues as the party secretary-general, with deputy prime ministers Teo Chee Hean and Tharman Shanmugaratnam as the first and second assistant secretary-general, respectively.

National Development Minister Khaw Boon Wan remains the party chairman and Communication and Information Minister Yaacob Ibrahim as vice-chairman.
