SINGAPORE - The

eco-friendly “tiny houses” on Lazarus Island

have the potential to elevate Singapore’s standing as a sustainable tourism destination, if they are well packaged with tours to offer a unique, “off-the-grid” kind of experience, say tourism experts here. 

The five, low-carbon tiny houses, which are developed by local start-up Big Tiny, will be

open to the public from May 5.
