Over 150,000 people will be watching this year's NDP across several locations: Ng Eng Hen

SINGAPORE - More than 150,000 people will be able to enjoy this year's National Day Parade across various locations.

Areas around Marina Bay will be opened up for more people to congregate, said Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen.

These sites, which include the Marina Bay Floating Platform, the Merlion Park, the Promontory, the MBS Events Plaza and Gardens by the Bay, will feature giant LED screens for viewers to watch the show.

They will also be able to watch the aerial displays and the fireworks.

The march-past and mobile column will also make their way to these locations around the Bay.

This year's National Day Parade will be larger than previous years, involving 7,000 participants and twice as many ticketed spectators.
